Former world heavyweight boxing champion Joe Frazier passed away on Monday after battling liver cancer.

The 67-year-old died in his home in Philadelphia, according to a press statement released by his family.

Frazier was famous for his three classic fights with all-time great Muhammad Ali. He took only one of their three fights. However, the matches are considered among the greatest bouts in boxing history.

With a professional record of 32-4-1 and 27 knockouts, Frazier is a member of the boxing Hall of Fame. He also took home a gold medal in the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
