Argentine David Nalbandian won last Monday in his first ATP event since April, defeating Rajeev Ram in their first round duel in the Legg Mason Tennis Classic.

Nalbandian beat Ram in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0.

The former world number three saw played in his first ATP game since undergoing hip surgery last May.

Other winners for the day included: Ryan Sweeting, Viktor Troicki, and Denis Istomin.
