Andy Roddick lost to fellow American Sam Querrey, 7-5, 3-6, 6-1 during their quarterfinals match of the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships.

Querrey lost to Roddick last week in San Jose, but he came in with a game plan this time. He had 15 winners and only three unforced errors during the final set, putting Andy away with a netted backhand.

Querrey beat a top 10 ranked player for the seventh time in his career.

In other quarterfinal matches, Ernests Gulbis edged out Tomas Berdych, while John Isner defeated Ivo Karlovic.
