Rafael Nadal advances in Aegon Championships |

Last Thursday, Rafael Nadal narrowly escaped, but other top players were not as fortunate—namely Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick.
Nadal displayed top form at the Aegon Championships in London. He shook off a good challenge from 16th seeded Denis Istomin, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-4. The Spaniard had five service breaks, including the final game.
Nadal won 112 points and Istomin scored 111, who also nine aces.
Djokovic, the second seed, was eliminated by Xavier Malisse. Roddick, the fourth seeded, went out in straight assets against Dudi Sela. Marin Cilic, on the other hand, was defeated by Michael Llodra.
The third-seeded Andy Murray played a close game with Mardy Fish, 4-6, 6-1, 3-3. Play was cancelled due to darkness.
