Sports minister irked by personal disputes between CSA top brass E-mail

Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula is well aware of the disputes between CSA President Dr. Mtutuzeli Nyoka and Chief Executive Gerald Majola. The minister fears that from their rift will rise inconceivable damages to South Africa's bid to host the World Cup. During a press conference in Centurion, the minister says that internal politics have the capacity to affect the country's campaign negatively.

Mbalula met with board members of the CSA, excluding Nyoka who had chosen not to attend despite his invitation. The meeting was held at SuperSport Park during the 5th ODI between India and South Africa and the agenda was focused on talks about the disputes between CSA officials.

The minister is disappointed at the poor timing with which the disputes arose. Mbalula says that personal rifts between the said officials couldn't have picked a worse time to throw the sport of cricket into chaos in the country. To make matters worse, Nyoka was penalized and given a notice of a motion of no confidence.
