England's incumbent coach, Martin Johnson, gave a clear announcement regarding his intentions to keep his job far beyond what he signed for. He says that his happiness as coach is due to his job being "very addictive". He signed a contract that puts him in coaching position up till December, exactly a couple months after the New Zealand World Cup wraps up.

He however did not explain any further why he would want to stay as coach, despite his tremendous success in bring a Six Nations victory to the team very recently, fueling his desire to head England up to 2015 for the England World Cup.

Johnson, captain of England when it won the World Cup in 2003, explains that he believes "last year was a transitional year and as we progressed through the Six Nations to what we've done now, when you have a young squad, it's very exciting. We are making relatively big steps in terms of progress.
