Quick earns second shutout as Kings defeat Coyotes E-mail

Jonathan Quick delivered his second shutout performance on Friday, preventing 28 goals and leading the Los Angeles Kings over Phoenix, 2-0.

Quick, who blanked St. Louis on Tuesday, is the first goaltender in the league to record two shutouts this season.

Los Angeles earned their third straight win with their conquest over the Phoenix Coyotes.

The Kings’ goals came in the second period from Dustin Brown and Kyle Clifford.

For the Coyotes, Mike Smith saved 20 of 22 shots.
