Marc-Andre Fleury blocked 18 shots last Tuesday to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-0 over the Montreal Canadiens. The Penguins now hold a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Fleury posted his first playoff shutout since the 2008 Eastern Conference finals, while Evgeni Malkin broke a scoreless tie during the third period.

Pascal Dupuis later scored an empty-netter after goalie Jaroslav Halak pulled out.

It was the first time since 2004 that the Canadiens were scoreless in the playoffs.

The teams will take the ice for game four on Thursday at Montreal.
