Mason plays a shutout to lead Columbus past Florida E-mail

Steve Mason played a shutout last Wednesday to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-0 win over the Florida Panthers.

Mason had 32 saves on 32 shot attempts.

The three goals were scored by Jason Chimera, Derick Brassard, and Samuel Pahlsson. The Blue Jackets broke a three-game losing streak with the convincing win.

Tomas Vokoun was beaten twice on 31 shots for the Panthers, who have now lost four games in a row.
