Kobe Bryant scored 27 points last Wednesday to lead the Los Angeles Lakers on a 20-0 run en route to a 101-77 victory over the Utah Jazz.
During the fourth quarter, the defending champs jumped to a two-point lead and never looked back as they went on a 28-6 run. The Lakers are now on top of the NBA standing at 17-3.
Utah has also performed well this season. The Jazz have won eight of their past ten games.
Utah scored two points during the opening minutes of the fourth quarter, but they failed to score for six minutes. This gave the Lakers enough time to build an insurmountable lead.
Bryant made 10-of-19 shots from the field, while Pau Gasol and Ron Artest had 19 each 17, respectively.
Utah was led by Deron Williams with 17 points. Los Angeles has now won seven straight home games against the Jazz.
