Cogliano leads Anaheim over Phoenix E-mail

Andrew Cogliano scored three goals on Tuesday to lead the Anaheim Ducks past the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-1.

Cogliano scored all his goals in the second quarter, giving the Ducks momentum throughout the period that rippled throughout the contest.

Anaheim’s other goal was an empty netter from Teemu Selanne.

Ray Whitney of the Coyotes scored the first goal of the game, granting them a 1-0 lead at the end of the first. However, Cogliano took over the second period and the Ducks never looked back.

Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller blocked 25 shots en route to the win.
