Zdeno Chara scored the only goal during a fourth quarter shoot out last Thursday, lifting the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 victory over San Jose Sharks.

Boston earned a win for the first time in four games, avoiding what would have been the team’s longest losing streak of the season. Before the loss, the Sharks were on a two-game winning streak.

Tim Thomas did a sensational job as goalie with 41 saves.

The Bruins now only have one more outing in their current three-game road trip.
