Jaroslav Halak made 34 saves on Tuesday, leading the St. Louis Blues over the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-1.

The Blues, who ended a three-game losing skid, received a solid performance from Jamie Langenbrunner, who scored a goal and a helper.

St. Louis’ other goals came from Patric Berglund, Chris Stewart, and T.J. Oshie, while Alex Pietrangelo and David Perron both had a couple of assists.

Phoenix goalkeeper Mike Smith had 27 saves. Radim Vrabata scored the lone goal for the Coyotes during a power play in the last minutes of the first period. His goal cut the Blues’ lead to 2-1, but the Coyotes could not sustain the effort in the succeeding periods of the game.

Eventually, Oshie increased the lead to 3-1, and Berglund topped it off with an empty-netter during the closing minute of the contest.
