Troy Brouwer scored the deciding goal during the first period power play opportunity last Monday to lift the Chicago Blackhawks past Minnesota, 3-1.

Dave Bolland and Patrick Kane scored and Cristobal Huet had 20 saves to lead Chicago.

Huet ended his scoreless slump when Andrew Brunette scored a third-period goal. Niklas Backstrom had an impressive 30-save game, but it was not enough for Minnesota.
