New York Jets officials have spoken to NFL officials about an ongoing investigation about an alleged harassment of a female television reporter.

Coach Rex Ryan says that NFL officials are currently investigating an incident that took place at the Jets’ Florham Park practice facility. Mexican television reporter Ines Sainz said that she was subjected to boorish behavior by the Jets players.She says that she was ogled and catcalled upon while waiting for her interview with quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Ryan said that he volunteered to talk with NFL officials about the issue.

“We want to have an environment here where everybody's comfortable,” said Ryan. “I don't know all the specifics of what's going on. The NFL is here today. They're here investigating. We're open. Whoever the NFL wants to talk to – I'm not sure who it is – but we'll let that play out. We're here to cooperate.”
