Ladainian Tomlinson is rumored to be leaving the San Diego Chargers.
The 30-year-old told the San Diego Union-Tribune that he had already played his last game in a Chargers jersey.
Tomlinson has had a solid career, winning the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award in 2006. He hinted that he would be retiring after the Chargers’ last game against the New York Jets for an AFC divisional playoff.
“It's mixed emotions,” he told the newspaper. “I gave the organization everything I have (but) the business part sucks. I won't miss that.”
He also mentioned that he has no idea when the Chargers are planning to release him.
In a span of nine seasons, Tomlinson rushed for 12,490 yards, 2,880 carries, and 138 touchdowns.
