Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones is in an Arkansas jail after being accused of violating terms of a plea deal in an earlier drug case.

The former Arkansas Razorback quarterback was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Monday afternoon on a contempt of court charge.

Deputy R. Hatcher said Jones remained in the jail late Monday night.

Jones was suspended for the last three games of last season after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He was charged with cocaine possession in July after a police officer said he saw Jones cutting the drug in a car in Fayetteville.
