Lebron James, the NBA’s most coveted free agent, is expected to announce his decision on which team he’ll play for this coming Thursday night during a special prime time telecast.
Reporters say that James will announce his decision live on cable television.
The two-time MVP has been wooed by the Cleveland Cavaliers (his last team), Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Jersey Nets.
The 25-year-old played the first seven years of his already illustrious career in the city of Cleveland. The Cavs can offer him a max contract should he choose to accept it.
Cleveland can give the young star a six-year $125 million contract, whereas other teams can only offer him a maximum of $96.1 million for five years.
Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, who are also prominent free agents, have yet to make their decision as to where they will be playing next season.
There are rumors that Bosh will be playing alongside Lebron in Cleveland. However, Bosh recently rejected a sign-and-trade offer between Toronto and Cleveland.
