Tyler Hansbrough broke his nose during the final seconds of No. 8 North Carolina's victory over 14th-ranked Duke on Sunday. The broken nose was the result of a collision at the end in which Gerald Henderson's arm smashed into Tyler Hansbrough's face.
Henderson says the impact was not intentional
that he was simply on his way down after Hansbrough's pump fake sent
him into the air. But read on in that story to see Duke coach Mike
Krzyzewski say both teams should've had walk-ons in the game at that
point.
Tyler Hansbrough had 26 points and 17 rebounds Sunday before suffering
an ugly injury in the closing seconds of No. 8 North Carolina's 86-72
victory over No. 14 Duke at Chapel Hill, N.C., which clinched the top
seeding in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. |
