In an interview with basketball broadcaster Marv Albert, US President Barack Obama said that he would like to see Lebron James in a Chicago Bulls jersey.
The Chicago-native put in a plug for his home town, because James is reportedly considering Chicago as his next team. James will officially be a free agent on July.
The Cleveland Cavaliers—James’ present team—were recently ousted from the playoffs by the Boston Celtics, and the team also fired Coach Mike Brown last Monday.
“Like I said, I don't want to meddle,” explained Obama to Albert. “I will say this: (Derrick) Rose, (Joakim) Noah, it's a pretty good core. You could see LeBron fitting in pretty well.”
The President says that he watches and reads about the NBA regularly.
