Chris Paul scored an impressive 39 points en route to a 114-107 victory of the New Orleans Hornets over the Dallas Mavericks in overtime.

The Hornets pulled away during the extra period with a seven-point run from David West and Bobby Brown.

West had 25 points and Brown had 18.
The Mavericks were led by Jason Terry, who had 35 points off the bench.
