Lebron James showed why he is the reigning MVP last Monday when the Cleveland Cavaliers went past the Golden State Warriors, 117-114. James had 37 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds.

James also performed well in the defensive end with four blocked shots. The Cavaliers slot men also backed up Lebron James. Anderson Varejao scored 15 points, Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 14 points, and Shaquille O’Neal had 13 points.

The Warriors were led by Corey Maggette, who scored 32 points, and Monta Ellis with 30 points. Golden State was carrying a two-game winning streak into the game. They have now lost four of their last six games.
