LeBron James ended months of speculation and told the sports world that he will be wearing a Miami Heat jersey next season.

The move will unite the two-time MVP with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. 

James says that the main motivation for the move was to “win now and win for years to come.”

James, Wade, and Bosh all entered the NBA during the 2003 NBA draft. James went to Cleveland, Bosh to Toronto, and Wade to Miami, where he won the 2006 NBA title with Shaquille O’Neal. 

Even when James’ name in the roster was yet to be confirmed, ticket sales for the Heat’s coming season were already sold out by Thursday afternoon.
