Kobe Bryant scored 29 points last Thursday, to lead the Los Angeles Lakers over the Phoenix Suns 121-102.

The loss is the Suns’ second of the season. They came off a win over the New Orleans Hornets last Wednesday, while the Lakers had a three-day rest period before they took the floor.

Bryant had plenty of support from his teammates, most notably Andrew Bynum, who scored 26 points and gathered 16 boards. As a team, the Lakers shot an astounding 57 percent from the field.

At the half, Phoenix was down by 14 and they failed to ignite a second-half come back.

Jared Dudley top scored for the Suns with 14 points and Nash had 13. Amare Stoudemire had a bad game as he shot 2-of-16 from the field.
