Argentine Andres Nocioni scored 19 points and rookie Omri Casspi added 16 to help the Sacramento Kings win over the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-89 during their preseason game last Thursday.

The Kings played without leading scorer Kevin Martin, who suffered a sprained left ankle during the Sacramento’s pre-season game against Phoenix.

Sacramento built its lead with three-point baskets during the first half. They pulled away during the third quarter with a 16-0 run. The purple stalwarts jumped to an 85-57 lead.

Oklahoma Thunder coach Scott Brooks began pulling out his starters when he realized that the game was out of reach.

The game served as a preview of next week’s season opener for both teams.

Sacramento coach Paul Westphal says that Martin’s injury is only minor and he will be fit to play in time for the regular season. In their pre-season outings, the Kings are 2-4.

Sacramento will end their preseason on Friday against the Utah Jazz.

The Thunder was led by Kevin Durant, who scored 15 points.

Oklahoma has lost the majority of its preseason games, but their three-point shooting has been sensational.
