Carl Landry made a three-point play to spark a 16-point run for the Houston Rockets, who made easy work of the Los Angeles Clippers last Wednesday, 102-85.

The Rockets had a slim 85-82 advantage with seven minutes remaining and they suddenly made basket after basket and they did not look back.

The win marked Houston’s second consecutive and the loss marked the end of a two-game winning streak for the Clippers.

Aaron Brooks led the Rockets with 22 points, while shooting a sensational 9-of-11 from the field. He had good support from Chase Budinger and Trevor Ariza, who had 19 and 16 respectively.

Baron Davis led the Los Angeles with 19 markers.
