A Georgia-based bank is filing a case against Julius “Dr. J” Erving for an unpaid line of credit.

Georgia Primary Bank has sued Erving, and his corporation, for an outstanding balance of $205,277 for a matured loan. According to the bank, the payment has yet to be made despite a demand letter that was submitted last September.

Local news reported that there was an ongoing auction for Erving memorabilia, which included his 1983 NBA World Championship ring.

As of press time, Erving’s representatives have yet to release a statement.
