Doc Rivers, Boston Celtics’ head coach, will be returning for the 2010-2011 season with the defending Eastern Conference Champions.

He informed The Boston Globe through a text message that he will be returning to the Celtics, who lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the recently concluded NBA Finals.

“I'm coming back,” Rivers told reporters. “I want another crack at it with this group.”
