Lebron James had an all-around performance with 23 points, seven assists, and six rebounds last Tuesday to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers over the New Jersey Nets, 99-89.

James also had a big lift from the team’s two big men, Shaquille O’Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who each had 16 points. Mo Williams also helped the Cavs with 13 points and eight rebounds.

The Nets were led by Brook Lopez, who had 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Devin Harris had 22 points and Rafer Alston scored 20 off the bench.

O’Neal helped Cleveland get an opening lead as he scored five of the team first seven points leading to a 30-22 lead for the Cavaliers after the first quarter.

During the second half, the Cavs jumped to a 61-51 lead. In the third period, the Nets made a valiant comeback, but Ilgauskas’ efforts pushed back New Jersey’s momentum.
