All-star guard Chris Paul has been traded from the New Orleans Hornets to the Los Angeles Clippers.

In exchange for the crafty guard, the New Orleans Hornets get a couple of future second-round draft picks, Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and an unprotected first-round pick for 2012 from Minnesota.

In the previous weeks, the Clippers rejected proposals for Paul, deeming that they were too “costly.”

One of the primary reasons for the initial rejection is the inclusion of Eric Gordon in the trade talks. Apparently, Los Angeles did not want to part with the budding guard.

Earlier, the NBA vetoed a trade that would have sent Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers.
