Derrick Rose scored 32 points on Thursday to lead the Chicago Bulls over the New York Knicks, 105-102.

The reigning MVP scored 15 points in the final quarter, fending off a New York rally. However, Rose missed a crucial free throw in the final seconds, leaving the door open for the Knicks. New York went to Carmelo Anthony, who missed a three-pointer from the right wing.

Rose dished out 13 assists, while Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver had 16 points apiece.

The Knicks were led by Amare Stoudemire with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony, on the other hand, had 26 points.
