Brandon Roy finished with 32 points, leading the Portland Trailblazers past the reigning NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers last Friday.

The win marked the ninth consecutive win of the Trailblazers over the Lakers.

Roy shot nine of eleven shots from the field and 13-of-14 from the line. Jerryd Bayless scored 21 points off the bench, while Andre Miller had 17 points.

Kobe Bryant was disrupted shooting under 50 percent from the field while taking 38 shots from the field. The defending champs have now lost two in a row.

The Trailblazers opened a 12-point lead at halftime, and they successfully held off a rally by the Lakers in the third quarter. Portland maintained a comfortable advantage in the fourth period,
