Ray Allen scored 18 points last Wednesday night to lead the Boston Celtics past the Charlotte Bobcats, 92-59.
The victory marked the Celtics’ second straight. They won last Tuesday against Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Bobcats had a franchise low 59 points for the whole game—a testament to the defense of Boston. Charlotte shot a dismal 31 percent from the field and missed all of their 10 three-point attempts.
Pierce added 15 points, while Rajan Rondo had a double-double with 10 points and 11 assists.
Gerald Wallace was the only Bobcat to score double digits with 10 points.
By the end of the first half, Boston led by 11 points. To start the third period, the Celtics went on a 15-0 run, while the Bobcats missed their first eight shots of the half.
