Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum is expected to see limited action during training camp after undergoing successful surgery on his right knee during the off-season.

The 22-year-old had arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a partially torn ligament.

While his injury was diagnosed during the first round of the playoffs, the 7-footer postponed surgery to help the Lakers earn their second straight NBA Championship. He averaged 8.6 points and 6.9 rebounds during their playoff run.

In the finals, Bynum had his knee drained twice and once again after the season.

The Lakers expect Bynum to be fully recovered by the start of the regular season.
