The NBA Players’ Union won’t accept David Stern’s final offer to resolve the halt in league operations.

The NBA commissioner said that if the players didn’t accept the final offer, it would be replaced by a harsher proposal.

Derek Fisher, the president of the players’ union, said that they would not accept the deal, which calls for a 50-50 split of the league revenue along with a flexible salary cap.

According to sources, if the problem is not resolved by Wednesday, the NBA season would be postponed until December.

The NBA has already cancelled its season through the month of November.
