Josh Wilson scored a two-run single in the eighth, topping a late comeback for the Seattle Mariners against the Detroit Tigers, 5-4.
Down 4-1 entering the frame, Franklin Gutierrez took a single off the Tigers starter Jeremy Bonderman. Ryan Perry then came on to relieve and stuck out Milton Bradley, and gave a two-run homer to Mike Sweeney. This pulled the Mariners within 4-3 of the Tigers.
Perry then gave up three straight hits to Jose Lopez, Rob Johnson, and the game-winning hit from Wilson.
