Danny Duffy played for more than six innings on Tuesday to earn his first win for the Kansas City Royals since July.
The Royals downed Oakland, 7-4.
Duffy surrendered three runs on four hits through 6 1/3 innings.
Eric Hosmer and Jeff Francouer had homers for Kansas, who have taken the first two games of a three-game series with the Athletics.
Oakland was led by Jemile Weeks, who had three hits and two RBIs, while Cliff Pennington added a couple of runs.
Gio Gonzalez took the loss with seven runs on ten hits through five innings.
