Joel Zumaya, formerly the relief pitcher of the Detroit Tigers, has signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Twins.

Zumaya signed the contract last Wednesday. He has not seen action since 2010 due to a broken arm.

The financial terms of the deal were left undisclosed, but reports estimate the deal at $800,000 with incentives that could boost the total to $1.7 million.

Zumaya has a 13-12 recored with a 3.05 ERA and five saves.
