Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker notched a second victory as the United States maintained a one point lead after two rounds in the President’s Cup.

Woods and Stricker won over Geoff Ogilvy and Angel Cabrera 5-and-3.

“Steve and I gel well together,” said Woods. “In this format, you have to make a bunch of birdies. We did most of the day."

Also, Phil Mickelson and Justin Leonard defeated Retief Goosen and Adam Scott and the American duo of Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan defeated Robert Allenby and Camilo Villegas.

For the Internationals, Ernie Els and Mike Weir edged Jim Furyk and Anthony Kim, Y.E. Yang and Ishikawa won over Sean O’Hair and Kenny Perry, and Tim Clark and Vijay Singh won over Stewart Cink and Lucas Glover.
