Adam Scott is heading to Thursday’s Qatar Masters contest with unfazed determination. He is aiming for his third win in three appearances in the European Tour event.

Last week, the Australian finished second in the Sony Open in Hawaii. It was Scott’s best performance since winning the Byron Nelson Championship last year. “Something got me inspired to just work a little bit harder again,” Scott told the Press Association.

After the Hawaii performance, Scott was questioned about Kate Hudson—the American actress that Scott was seen with in Hawaii. “I’m not here with her, but I know Kate,” Scott reacted.

The world number 14 Scott will be returning to competition after a right knee injury he acquired from surfing. He won the Qatar Masters last year in record-breaking fashion. This year, he faces stiff competition.

World number 2 Sergio Garcia is the highest ranked in the field. Other notable names in the field include Ernie Els, Henrik Stenson, and Retief Goosen.

The winner of the tournament will get a $10 million cash prize.
