Rory McIlroy’s success at the US Open has pushed him to the number four spot in the world of men’s professional golf.

McIlroy posted four scores in the 60s en route to picking up his first major championship, winning eight strokes over a talented fray of golfers, including Jason Day and Lee Westwood.

The win improved McIlroy’s ranking by four spots.
